"My work is an eclectic grouping of porcelaneous creations varying in style and color and representing a lifetime of clay-associated experiences."

Artist Statement
My functional pottery is the result of countless hours of a variety of clay-associated learning experiences over a lifetime of accumulated knowledge.
My pieces are an eclectic grouping of styles and colors. The clay is a porcelaneous mid-range fired clay, firing to a finished glazed product at 2,167 degrees F which lends itself well to usage, the micro-wave, the dishwasher and the oven.
The Kitsap Peninsula has always been my home. Since retiring from my “real” job in 2007, I have had the privilege to work with clay in my own home studio on Hood Canal.
