Artists Statement
I am a Port Townsend artist, photographer, poet and playwright whose colorful abstract paintings reflect the joy I find in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Working primarily in acrylics, I create fluid, evocative works that invite viewers into a joyful, imaginative and peaceful space.
A member of Women Painters of Washington, my tranquil abstracts have soothed patients and visitors in the halls of the Jefferson, Harrison, and Skagit Valley Hospitals. My award-winning work has also been featured in numerous art festivals and in galleries around Washington including Northwind Arts, Bainbridge Arts and Crafts, and the Smith and Vallee Gallery in Bow/Edison.
